St. Joseph is Buried

Mr. JP buried St. Joseph, and so the house was on the market. We are hoping that we can catch some of the crowd interested in the tax credit, which expires at the end of this month. We are selling our house at a loss, and we will rent for a year to recover. So it goes.

Anyone interested in a new house?

In grad school, my lab manager told me to do just that when hubby and I were selling our house. She related the story of her now-ex-husband trying to sell a house and getting little interest and no offers. Someone told her to bury St. Joseph, so she put him in the flower bed of the house. They had a good offer within a week, so now she swears by the ritual.

Funny how rational scientists are so superstitious sometimes. Personally I think lucky Pig helped me finish my last year of grad school ;)

We are in the same boat (and we moved last summer!) - can someone please buy our house? And we are renting for the unforeseeable future...
